However, please also note that if the hard drive (HDD) is too old, there's a chance that it is not compatible with your new PC.
It may also a good idea to check the manufacturer's website to find a way to change master or slave jumpers.

Hell Yes!
regardlress of names and brand u can use any hard drive for any pc all u need to know is the connectivity
in ur existing machine ..the hard disk is connected in Master position..u can set the spare Hard disk as slave and run or other way round.
But if u follow the cable select u can use the same for both..
it will work..or else just IM me i can help u out

Yes you could use it as a second HDD in your computer. You might have to contact the manufacturer of your computer to see how if you can't figure it out, it's not hard at all though.

To configure another hard disk into newer one ..... connect the older hard disk into the data cable and connect voltage supply to that hard disk... then set the according to ur wish set the jumper as master or slave as guided in the outer layer of hard disk......

It is impossible to transfer a hard drive that already has windows on it. So if you want to move a hard drive into aother computer, you would have to re- format it first.

Hard drives of IBM compatible computers are interchangeable. I see no problem. You may have to format it.

Simple ::: Rest ans are stupid...
a. just plugin the hdd to the cable
b. boot the machine
c. go to setup
d. choose auto detection of HDD
e. it will detect and you are happy

yes... it'll work like a slave drive to the other.... try attaching it, configure your bios to indicate it's presence... configure your DOS setting to acknowledge it.... it'll be an additional space in your pc...
