Juventina, the nice thing about the World Cup Soccer is that everyone goes crazy so....let yourself go! It's OK! We can afford to for once to show our crazy, wild side. hehe!
I watched all the games at home with the exception of the Italy vs Ukraine and Germany...I went to my parents and we all gathered, along with a few other relatives, around the big screen TV.
I watched the final game at a big Italian Club (over 2,000 ppl attended) and we all roared at every little opportunity. Following the game, we all paraded throughout downtown with airhorns, flags galore and coriandoli. It was quite a blast.

I usually just watched the matches intently, with my mother reading the newspaper and only watching the highlights (i.e. when someone scored, or a yellow or red card was given).
However, I most enjoyed watching the Germany vs. Italy match with my cousins and his other family members. I loved the result, and the fact that there was so much action and unexpected turn-arounds made it so much better. It's nice to have some people to celebrate with; I hugged my cousin so tightly he could have suffocated right there. It also happened that the house I was watching the match in was in a community with lots of Italians, so some people came out to celebrate the match result. It was a wonderful experience. =D
I also thought it was nice watching all of the matches live in the afternoon, here in Canada. =D It's the perfect time to be hyper as long as there's air-conditioning.

I watched it at home, sitting on the couch and watching it. I watched it withmy family. But in the germany vs italy game, i was so nervous I was standing for the last half hour of the game, watching the game & walking around staring at the TV. :-)
When Italy won? I went crazy, I closed my eyes.. when Grosso was about to shoot, when he scored I opened my eyes, and I started yelling and the ran out the door to go parading. I recorded the game and the Circo Massimo celebration.. I always watch it, lol :-)

Adi06, yes I feel ya re those 3am matches...lol. My family are not really football followers like me, they only watch when Australia is playing. So it was just myself and my daughters huddled up in the water bed with loads of coffee and munchies, at ungodly hours, and a pillow handy for me to cover my angry screams, and yelling at the referee as if he could hear me. We watched all but three matches, which we watched later on Video. Though I have to admit they often fell asleep so I was left to watch alone which is OK with me. I just held conversations with myself...LOL

At home, sitting up right by the television...glued to it, then if my team loses, I will turn it off an throw things across the room, or burst into tears, if my team wins, I will be yelling out my window: WE WON...WE'RE GOING TO THE FINAL!!!!! Hopefully, in 2010 , my teams will actually win, so it it will be true when I say we are going to the final! Actually in 2010, I hope to be there in South Africa!

Home sweet home. For the Euro 2004 I went to a club and could not truly express myself in front of so many people. Besides, it got too loud and people blocked my view at times. It was annoying! At home, it's a total different story!

It depended on the match. Most of them I enjoyed at home on my own with no distractions. For England matches, I went to my local pub to cheer with the crowd and for Argentina matches we met at a friend's house watching the game and enjoying their traditional 'asado de tira'. Too bad neither made it to the final.

mostly at home with my brothers in the wee hours with some pizza and booze. sometimes, i would just watch with my dad when my brothers are out with friends to see the matches in bars. when it's brazil playing, i would make an occasion of it, round up some friends who are brazil fans like me, and we'd hit the bars, too. it's just more exciting when there are yelling contests going on, it's almost like being there, lol. it was all exhausting but fun.
