No, not really...........sigh..........it is a money dominated society. If men dominated ,there would not be so many children growing up without thier fathers.
We are all dependant on who gains the big buck. In US society......it is sexless, genderless, raceless, godless...........hell !...the kittens my cat had could become a commercial icon and actually provide for the family.
The US society is dominated with the ideal-du-jour. In my home.............I AM WIFE AND MOTHER.....I rule.....so long as my husband puts up with it.
Then we will let the lawyers figure it out!

Yes. But women are realizing their roles in the new society and men are learning to cooperate in realizing gender equality, we may have the real social balance in a few decades.

It is definitely improving. I see a day coming when women will be on equal footing with men. So little separates that complete equality. I am very proud of the great strides that our country has made.
