no matter the motor performance comes down to how much air goes through the motor. Start at the tail pipe and move forward, you could have the baddest intake/head/injection system ever but if the motor can't get that out the tailpipe you won't see much of a difference.

air intake system would give your honda better breathing, giving more air/and colder air to your fule air mix, usually results in 5to15 hp gain

headers allow your honda to move exaust more freely and at a smother rate, combined with a full cat-back exaust you can achieve anywhere from 30-80 hp depending on size of exaust and type of muffler and catalitic converter you go with.

While the exaust and header are a better upgrade it is more expensive, can range from 400 upwards to 1200 if you go with systems like HKS or GReddy. most people will go with the intake first mainly because its cheaper and is typicaly involves less work.

I'd suggest if you go with a intake to get a cold air with a water box, to protect the intake when driving in the rain, sucking up a gallon of water will really F*ck up your day.

hope that helps a lilbit

Doing dyno work, I would start with the air intake. Make sure it brings in cold air. Then do the ehaust. You will need some back
pressure to keep the performance characteristics alive. Flowmaster makes agood product. Then, I would have head work done. Multi angle valve job, and a full port and polish job.

"up to a 80hp gain" thanks for the good laugh man. On a honda (most any 4 cyl. engine) even both a intake and exhaust upgrade MIGHT net you 15 more peak hp.

I'd start with the intake as it doesn't really make the car much louder, thus easier to live with if this is your daily driver.

dont waste your time with that crap. save your money for a turbo kit, or a supercharger. those are the only way to get real horse power.
