I have 7. and its a bit buggy anything lower doesnt have photo sharing and The highest version 8.0 has the best feutures but it closes when i try to put an audible. PLEASE Help

I was using 7 and upgraded to 8.0 because with 7 I had to routinely clear all my cookies and Internet cache in order to get it to use LaunchCast in the high quality mode which I pay for. Who knows how many out there are getting ripped off with a lower bit rate because of version 7's bugs.
With respect to your audible problems, you may get more meaningful responses by asking another question more centric to your problems. i.e. "Why can't I get audibles to work in Yahoo Messenger 8?" This might grab more clicks from other people who have had the same issues that would have otherwise passed over your question.

However since it's still a beta version you might not get much luck there.

I was quite happy with version 5.5, the only reason why I switched to version 6 was because of the stealth settings, I just couldn't resist.
Now I'm using version 8.0.0.508 and I have no problem with audibles (though I only used them once so far...)
The "best" version depends on what you're using your Yahoo! messenger for. If you use it mostly to go to chat rooms then the version 5 is better with every new version, chat room functionalities are either removed or Yahoo makes it less easier to even get to those rooms by having you go three levels in the menu before you find the "Join a Room" entry, they used to have a button in the toolbar you could just click on...
If you use it mostly to chat with your friends who are already on your list then the versions starting from 7 are probably more interesting for you with the added features etc....

I think 8 is the best "Yahoo with Voice"

I love 5.6, because it's hugely stable, and has no ads in it--and, it takes up less memory. :)
