How will it be better than any AMD or Intel Processor so far made. It is said to give 40% more efficiency than any other processors. Will it be really that good for gaming compared to other processors. What about the hardwares- Graphic card and all, will they too work that efficiently on the new systemboard. How can Intel suddenly come up with such a processor. Are they adopting the policy used by AMD(run at true clock speed.). What will be the clockspeed at which the Core2 Extreme will run, its FSB, and all that details. Will it be good for video editing and stuffs like that. Will the new AMD Quad Processor due to release this November outperform even Core2 Extreme. Will Core2 Extreme support overclocking and if yes, how much in percentage ratio.

The 40% figure you're talking about is power consumption. It uses 40% less power than a similar P4 does.

Keep in mind that the Core 2 Extreme CPUs are built off the Pentium M (Centrino) CPU architecture, which has already proven to be power efficient and pack more punch per MHz. Yes, Intel has moved back to an older architecture that resembles a heavily modified Pentium III. A 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo, for example, can easily outpeform a 2.4GHz Athlon 64-FX by as much as 20% in some benchmarks...
