don't buy coffee, rent movies, buy lunch(make your own), or shop too much. And drive a bike to work or take the bus if you can to save on gas money.

always have 2-3 savings account. one -spending, 2-saving, 3-paying bills. and for the savings acc don't request for ATM just the passbook for update and see the numbers growing.
if you are not diligent enough, then go by the pratical ways, reduce shopping trips to twice a month, don shop in supermarket if you are hungry, tend to buy some useless things. don shop with colleagues/classmates, will influence you to buy. spend yr PH/weekend clean up your house/room, can execise and save $.
