The Cav's aren't gonna want anyone else but LeBron for some time. He's probably has one of the most promising futures in any player in the NBA right now. He could be the best of all time. Cleveland isn't going to want to lose him.

Well obviously the cavs shouldn't trade lebron and i can't imagine a single scenario where they would even consider it; save maybe getting the rest of team USA in return. As for lebron i dont see why he would want to go anywhere else reallly. He's very close to home in cleveland, and the city absolutely adores him. As it stands now, he has the option to be one of the players that plays for only one team for his entire career, like magic and bird, and so many of the other greats of the past. I think that really says something about a player when they do that. The only other place lebron should even consider going would be New York. The reason for it being that he could be the savior of the NBA's greatest and most storied franchise. Obviously the knicks are at the cellar of the NBA right now, and if lebron could go to new york, revive the franchise and basically lift New York back into the elite of the nba, he would have more fame than even he would know what to do with.

LeBron James will retire, the same way Kobe Bryant will retire a Laker, as a Cavalier. You associate superstar legends with teams. Jordan-Bulls, Kobe-Lakers, Ewing-Knicks, Magic-Lakers, Bird-Celtics. Thats just the way it is. LeBron will retire a Cav the same way that Dwayne Wade will retire a member of the Heat.
