libs don't have to worry about the environment for at least 3-4 weeks, maybe longer. I'm sure these libs won't have a problem with paying close to 4 bucks for a gallon of gas as long as the environment is safe! come on libs, lets hear the Bush bashing on this one, hypocrites.

if we could drill more and have more refineries we wouldn't have to pay as much but the libs don't like that do they what the hell differences is it to drill in this country but no we have to let some other country do it so they can have power over us because the libs think the U.S is bad

I find it really interesting and not at all surprising that our crappy governer, Murkowski, has totally jumped at the opportunity to push the natural gas pipeline during this. This also makes me question the validity of the situation because Murkowski and BP were striking a deal with one another in hopes of getting the whole natural pipeline off and running...but then it fell through once again...and now this. Is someone trying to make a point? Are they in some room somewhere thinking...let's see how long they last without us? The only reason I don't completely think this is a total bluff is because the pipeline was built in the 70s and was only designed to last 20 years...you can do the math...amazing how fast 20 years will go by when you don't really want them to.

i don't get why your asking this.
British Petroleoum has nothing to do with the U.S congress.......letting people drill on federal land because under the right conditions there is the chance that oil companies can drill the oil for free......yes free.
