I jumped off the merry-go-round, to the utter and bitter consternation of my grown children, about ten years ago, moved to a mountain village in the Rockies, snowshoed, planted flowers, hiked, had a great sex life, relaxed, hibernated, loved, made coloring books to sell, laughed, philosophized and, in general, let go. A few years ago I needed to know the date. I phoned my five best friends in the village and asked them if they knew the date. The consensus among the six of us was that it was probably June. Yeah. This is the life. I recently moved to the Pacific Northwest and I'm still living the simple life. Anyone can do it. I may never know what date it is. But, I found out what living is really all about. I'll never go back.

I live on the tropical island Curacao, but the life is not so simple. You have to work for your money. Or do you mean an island without the seasons, where the sun shine everyday, near the beach, etc.

yes in a way. No tropical island though, I choose cold over heat. I would like to run away to the Alaskan bush and get off the grid. Live on love and nature. Read books and cook from scratch. Screw the man!!!

Yes, get this mental picture. Redhead (sunscreen of course level 15 or so) on beach to old for bikini, ah what the heck its a dream right. Hulio serving Corona twist of lime of course to me and best friend on the beach. Average temp 70ish perfect weather no worries no cares. Brought the hairdresser with us of course, some things you just cant let go.No worries, no cares, the worst thing I want to think about is how to get the big piece of lime into the little botttle. Don't worry can train hulio. :-)

Dude, I want to buy a boat. Have barrels full of rum. And just sail for years man. Imagine the fun; no BS, no bills, no nothing. One day, I shall do this.

I've done that before. No oven, vcr, dvd, computer. It's a bit different. Time goes so slow but it seems that there are less problems to worry about.
