the way that people look is usually the first impression... people rarely go beyond that. esp in the dating world. on what issue are you saying avg joes get kicked on the sidelines? there are studies that so called good looking people get treated different, or better.
one idea to think about is I have a friend that is beautiful, blonde, tan, great body, tall and has a nice chest, she sometimes gets tired of people judging her just for her body.... she is also intelligent. she wants people to get to know that side of her too! alot of people almost assume she wouldn't be intelligent looking like she does.

I tink(sic) that people are people whether they are good looking or not. I would hate to be regarded as that shallow.
