No I'm not superstitious except when I'm watching NBA basketball and a player is shooting his free throw. I make ever one in the room hold there breath and say not a word. If they miss it's because some one either breathed or said something. Just more or less fun. My grandmother is Irish and from Tennessee and she was superstitious to say the least. She had a list of superstitions a mile long. She passed away before I could get them written down.

Some superstitions are good sense. Don't walk under a ladder, it's not bad luck unless something falls off the ladder and busts you in the head. Don't open an umbrella in the house, you could put out an eye.

However, throwing salt over you left shoulder just makes the floor slippery, so don't do that one. :-)

NO. I own a black cat, I don't throw salt over my left shoulder if I spill it. I have walked under ladders, although for safety it is not recommended. I have opened umbrellas up in the house. I worked at a rear-view mirror factory and use to accidentally break at least 10-15 mirrors a day. It was the average for anyone. And I don't ever consider myself having bad luck.

Yes and no.

Logically, I don't believe in ghosts or goblins or other supernatural creatures.

I am religious, however. I also have the very human tendency to be wary of the unknown.

That could suggest that I am a bit superstitious.

It depends on your point of view.

A little. I won't tickle a baby's feet. I won't say "honest Injun", if I'm lying (Which I hardly lie anyways). I don't speak ill of the dead, If my left hand itches, I have unexpected money going out, if I my right hand itches, I have unexpected money coming in. I won't put money on the table. There's several more things I wont do though.
