Hey megan. ;)

Many people (especially the pro-gay movement) believe that it is 10% of folks, but that is not even close to the true amount. From what I have heard from reliable sources, it is probably no more than 2%, keeping in mind that homosexuality is a behaviour, not a physical trait, and therefore much harder to discover and track.

Every reputable study (scientific not religiously based) seems to indicate 60 to 65 %. With 20 to 30 % 100 % straight and 5 to 10 % 100% homosexual.

Bisexual is not a minority. It is not a choice it is a legitimate orientation. It is not being confused it is not a stop on the way to gayville it is not being greedy it is so many things other than what monosexuals think it is. LOL

A great many more than we will ever know about.

Not everyone has had the opportunity to act on their sexual/ romantic impulses and attractions, some people prefer the following definition - a bisexual is a person who feels POTENTIALLY able to have such attraction. This could be anyone who has erotic, affectionate, or romantic feelings for, fantasies about, and/or experiences with both men and women. A bisexual may be more attracted to one sex than the other, attracted equally to both, or find a person's sex unimportant. The strength of their attractions to men or women may even vary over time. Many people fantasize about many things that they do not act on. If you are a man and you primarily have relationships with women, but think about what it would be like with a man, you may be bi-curious.

Self-perception is the key to a bisexual identity. Many people engage in sexual activity with people of both sexes, yet do not identify as bisexual. Likewise, other people engage in sexual relations only with people of one sex, or do not engage in sexual activity at all, yet consider themselves bisexual. There is no quantitative behavioral or psychological .test.. to determine whether or not one is bisexual. There are many people out there who have sexual relationships, experiences, and fantasies with people of both sexes, and yet they don't consider themselves to be bisexual.

Like life its never black or white but infinate shades of grey.

I have this theory. Everyone is bi. Just some more then others. Some want to have sex with their own gender, some want a relationship, while others just can look at a person and say they're beautiful. With in those areas, there are higher amounts. I say I'm 60% lesbian depending on the day and who I"m looking at. :)

I can't really give you a proven estimate, Megan, but my guess is that is that it is much higher than first thought. Many bi's don't act on their impulses or discuss them with even their closest friends. Just taking into consideration men? I feel that most are bisexual to some extent,some more than others. That is one of the great secrets about men that we males generally do not talk about --and most men who realize this fact about themselves and their fellow men take to their graves.

A lot more than are aware of it (to varying degrees), say 40 - 50%?

A lot fewer that would/could be actively bisexual, say 10 - 20%

Still fewer who are active, true bisexuals 1 - 5% Sigh :(

Fifty percent. Seriously. I'd bet that, given the chance with no chance of suffering anything at all, that half the people do (or would do) it with the same sex.

most of the people experience identity crisis..
while half of them deny their true identity;
half of them also reveals the truth..
so I guess, if most of the eople would come out..
it will proves that 40-50% are all bi's..
