Paul Wellstone, one of the most inspiring people I've ever seen, he was a U.S. Senator who was unfortunately killed in a plane crash. He was amazing. Talk about values!
Also Gwynn, a woman (also deceased) who I had worked with and who had such love for everyone. She taught me some things about letting go and she taught me about love and justice.
And one person still with us. My nephew Drew. He was a whoopsie child and my family complained that my sister-in-law (who always told us how intelligent she was) said she didn't know she could get pregnant while breast feeding (whoopsie!). Basically this boy wasn't awaited for like the others had been. But as he grew I learned some things. Drew would hug me like I was the greatest person in the world and he hugged everyone like this. His hugs taught me so much about making judgments. God or the higher power or whatever powers that be certainly knew what they were doing when that spirit was sent to be here. What an amazing child. Thank you Drew!
Thank you Oliver!
Peace.

I would say all the people who have been kind to me, or who have stood by me when I needed them. And all other people who shared my ups and downs. There are of course a number of people who are or have been close to me whom I want to thank, but someone in a store who is very friendly to you or people on the bus who smile at you can also make a difference. They brighten up your day and if you feel good, you make better decisions, you are more open and friendly to other people and you make this world a slightly better place to live in. So a huge "thank you" to friendly strangers is in order, I think.

This is a great question, I must say that anyone who takes time to love and nurture others and the environment and smiles knowing that it will lead to an epidemic of other smiles. Yeah those people, I love the ability to embrace challenges and laugh at hard times knowing you have the strength inside you to do something about it and actually plan on it.

George Bush. For cutting taxes for the rich and making the poor poorer. And for making gas 3.50 a gallon. Thank you President Bush. What would the world be like if you weren't our great president? Oh and thank you for allowing me to get that off my mind. $50 to fill the tank gee-wiz.

Pam my neighbour, she helped take the pain of sciatica away from me with three reflexology treatments a day for two weeks. She deserves a huge huge thank you.

this is historic, but my elder son was born very poorly, and disabled, i was only 23- a little immature, he loved hugs and they filled you with warmth and unconditional love, when he died his memory inspired me to train and share the skills i had learnt by being his mum, he changed my life and attitude forever, he has long since passed and my life is very different from what it would have been, better- he taught me strength, compassion, and realised life is worth living and knowledge worth sharing with others.. Thank-you Danny, you r always in my heart.
