Cyrus became interested in acting while on the set of her father's television series Doc, where she played Kylie. In 2003, she played young Ruthie on Tim Burton's Big Fish credited as Destiny Cyrus. On June 22, 2006, Cyrus performed a Hannah Montana concert at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon in Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. She will be traveling with the Cheetah Girls on a 40 city tour.
On October 24, 2006, Walt Disney Records will release the Hannah Montana soundtrack to the Disney Channel Original Series Hannah Montana. The soundtrack will most likely include the songs listed below, with some other songs by other stars. Cyrus has also signed on for a record deal for four albums at Hollywood Records.
Cyrus is also taking part in the first ever Disney Channel Games. She is on the green team with Ashley Tisdale, Kyle Massey, Lucas Grabeel, Emily Osment, and Mitchel Musso, and she was voted MVP for the Alphabet Goop and Egg Toss games.
