Okay, I missed the you after the do, please give some good answers. As an American I want to understand why there is hatred towards the Americans and how the rest of the world views the United States.

I am asian american, and an american citizen living here in the US for over 30 years.
To be honest, I do not like Americans in GENERAL (not saying everyone but in general.. the majority) because I find them to be the most ignorant, most judgemental, most apathetic, most rudest, and most racist culture I have ever experienced. I lived in canada before and the people were so nice. I was stationed in Germany and most of the people there will open up to you.
Not here. In America there are people still shocked that I speak english. They do not believe that I only speak English.
No I think Americans in GENERAL lack compassion/kindness/morals/values. There are Americans that are kind and compassionate, but they are rare. I've only experience hatred and cold unfriendly attitudes.
I smile and say hi to people everyday and 1 out of 20 will actually say "hi" back.
This is just my opinion and I am american.

If you are talking about over 340 M person in specific i guess you are asking the Wronge Question
if you are talking about living in america
i wish to do so because It's were i like to be and were i want to live because mostly it is where you can have a real career without loosing enjoying your life
If your talking about Gov.
there is no Question
if you From Country that have problems with the US Definiatly you will hate The US
and if you are From Country Having Good Deplomatic Relation you will love the US
and after all i've been in the US for a period of study
i really liked eevery thing about it and about there people as well :)

I am American and we are the best in the world!! :) no one can touch us,,we are the best bar none.
Why? because we have the perfect society,we are kind ,generous,and open our doors to whoever comes to our doorstep.
We go out of our way to help other countries when they have disasters,hurricanes,floods,or under a vicious dictatorship and try to help them gain freedom.
We are free and proud of it after fighting for our independence from England in the Revolutionary War .
We are a myriad of cultures,races,and mixtures of all countries of the world which makes this country so great.
No one can touch us not even with a 10 foot pole.(that is an American saying,if you are not American you will not understand). lol
Yes we are the best and proud of it that is why everyone hates us.

I am an American. But honestly, americans are stuck up, and they think they are the best in the world, and they are not! They also need to be more concerned about what is going on around the world.

The world just wouldn't be the same without US!I love my country!What other country opens it's arms wide open to anyone like we do!The freedom of religion is why we are here.We do not force anything on anybody!!We are PEACEMAKERS

Everyone I know is American so I really don't know how I can really compare. Anyway I'm American and all of my family are Americans...so God bless America!

Singaporeans are better.
We are kinder(we help people in the tusnami),less fat and we have the best port and airport in the world!

Some are bad but most are good. It's really just their government and the governments foreign policy that I hate. I'm Canadian.

they had vested interests in the philippines, (my country) years ago. they are superior,powerful. they set us free fro japanese but then wanted to colonize us also. that was history. im not sure if it's the same till now.i don't think so.poor philippines
