guys aren't too good at expressing emotion, in case you haven't noticed. this is true throughout our entire lives...

That is a both sides of the fence question. Has to do with growing up, new feelings, maturing.
Relationships are completely new mental and emotional territory.
Nothing prepares us for the first meaningful relationship and the feelings and desires that are part of it.
Miss information, negative peer pressure, listing to the group rather than ones own values, all serve to make for unnecessary complications.
Read the issues, questions and answers in just this forum.
America has a lot of people with some very, very serious moral and integrity issues. And this is across the spectrum of age.
And your thought process that allowed you to ask if others think
that the issue is silly, suggest insult, and another reason why
people chose to hide their feelings. How many females have you seen really trash a young male for making public his feelings about her?
How easily we see everyone Else's trash but not our own garbage!

Sometimes guys can be shy about letting girls know how they feel for fear of rejection.
If that is the case for someone you are hoping will ask you out, you might want to give a few subtle or not-so-subtle hints.
We guys can be silly sometimes but that's life.

No I don't think it's silly, most of the time guys are afraid of rejection, girls can be extremely mean

mayb bcoz they r nervous..4 da reason dat if wuteva they say may hurt the girl's feelingz and den da girl would neva talk to him. or she may over react and may embaress him in front of everyone by reply. it may b silly 2 sum or nt silly 4 sum.(depends on the guy and gal)

The same way some girls find it hard to tell the guy they fancy what they really feel isn't it?
It's all relative to be honest. Frankly it all boils down to lack of confidence & fear of rejection.

they are afraid if rejection and No it is not silly because girls can be cruel... i am female but i never hurt a guys feelings no matter what he looks like

the reason they do tha is because if they do, they feel unmasculine and like a wuss because they are showing it, ans theres another part to it.
