Jeremy, I have been playing and performing on acoustic for over 30 years now. I have played and competed in competitions both in the US and abroad. My favorite artist is an easy choice for acoustic: Paul McCartey of which I play all. His work with the Beatles (Lennon in particular) as well as solo work gives you quite a bit of great acoustic tunes to choose from:
Beatles-
Yesterday, Norwegian Wood, Michelle, Blackbird, Rocky Racoon, Here Comes the Sun, Do You Want to Know a Secret, Yellow Submarine, Her Majesty, Mother Nature's Son, We Can Work it Out, Here There and Everywhere, You've Got To Hide Your Love Away..ect...
Solo McCartney:
Another Day, Bluebird, Here Today, Tug of War, Everynight, I'm Carrying, Jenny Wren, Vanilla Sky..ect.
Solo John Lennon that I play regularly:
Working Class Hero, All I Want is the Truth, Love, Starting Over
Solo George Harrison:
My Sweet Lord, Fab
Solo Ringo Starr:
You're Sixteen
Other Artists I play often as well but depends on the audiece. I play tunes from Dan Fogelburg for weddings (Longer, Leader of the Band), John Denver (Country Roads, Good to Be Back Home) ect.. Open mic's I have a lot more freedom and may pull out some eclectic pieces: The Clash (London Calling, Should I Stay or Should I Go, Brand New Cadillac), the Cars (Best Friend's Girl, Let the Good Times Roll) ect...and even a mix from the 50's rock n'roll to the psycadelic 60's. It all depends who is listening or paying you. Feel free to contact me for more..

I *love* John Mayer. He is an incredible guitar player, and he has some really beautiful acoustic versions of songs. Here are a few of my favorites:
Comfortable
My Stupid Mouth
Back to You
Neon
City Love
Covered in Rain
He has a CD called "Inside Wants Out" that is entirely acoustic. Also, you can hear/see a lot of his acoustic work on YouTube. If you want me to send you any mp3s of these songs, just send me a message...they're incredible.
