Kittykid is absolutely correct. The only mention of Elton John is as "vocalist." Neither Tim Rice nor Phil Collins are listed anywhere in the credits. I thought Elton John did at least some of the writing, and I'm on IMDB constantly! That's what we get for assuming, huh?

The instrumental music for the movie was composed and arranged by Hans Zimmer... who also over saw the music for the first Pirates movie and composed the soundtrack for the second Pirates movie. The songs, as in the songs with vocals, were done by Tim Rice and Elton John.
