As a vertebrate paleontology student, I'm just curious as to how that is explained. I'm not trying to stir up any controversy or to hurt feelings, I just want a straight answer from the Creationists.
I find it tough to argue with fossil evidence.

I don't think creationists actually explain anything. They're really not in the explaining business.

Most Christians just believe in science, which should not contradict with a believe in God. When the Bible was written, science was less advanced than it is today, so the Book of Genesis gave a plausible explanation, considering the knowledge they had then. How could the Bible account for Dinosaurs? They died out 60 million years before the Bible was written and the first dinosaur fossils were found 2000 years after the Bible was written. If Moses, Jesus and the apostles were told that some so-called "Christians" and "Jews" now abuse their religions by denying clear scientific evidence, they would turn over in their graves.

The previous Pope acknowledged evolution, Big Bang and everything, just insisted that God created the universe. There's plenty of scope for an allegoric interpretation of the Bible. A slightly more literal interpretation would be that the seven "days" that God needed to create the Universe and the World refer to stages of the evolution, each lasting many millions of years.

CREATIONISTS ARE WRONG!

According to the Bible, Earth was created and man was created in 7 days. That means that things before man were created in "7 days"! Scientific evidence to huge extent proves that humans have only been on Earth for a sliver of life on Earth. Life on Earth started primitively and lasted more than "7 days"!

What, are you saying that God created fossils so we could have something to speculate at, creationists?

do you really think that dinosaurs prove evolution or disprove creation????

if you do, you need to rethink your logic.

there being fossils does not prove evolution. fossils can exist in the creation theory. do you know how big the bible says the ark was? not big enough to fit many dinosaurs in, that's for sure.

so maybe they didn't make it onto the ark, and were wiped out in the flood.

and how can you be sure carbon dating is correct? how do you know the exact amount of carbon in the atmosphere at any given point in history? carbon amounts fluctuate, so carbon dating cannot be trusted as accurate. also, i have yet to see any overwhelming proof that carbon dating can be even remotely accurate as proven by another method.

to a creationist, dinosaurs were just another group of animals that didn't make it to today. just like many other creatures.

I tried this. The dinosaurs are in the bible, first of all, and they walked with man, second of all. Then they washed away in the giant flood.

Two inconsistencies I have drummed up:

1) Jesus didn't have one for a pet (why not?)

2) Why didn't Noah take two of each kind of dinosaur on the ark?

oh, and a 3rd) You shouldn't ask such stupid, thought provoking questions. You are plain wrong. Don't you see?

lol

How do you know that GOD didn't create fossil evidence from whole cloth? If GOD is all powerful, how do you know that GOD didn't create the entire world five minutes ago, and your memories and its history along with it? You can't. Sometimes, you have to admit that you can't really know anything for sure.

I think they probably died out after the flood.

What fossil evidence are you talking about anyway?
There is no evidence of evolution! You have evidence of steps, but not of the transitions, or of the millions of animals that would have died during a single failed evolution jump.

They just try to look past that whole time on our planet. I have asked ministers this smae question, and the response is usually to avoid the question and tell me more about God.

I know that one explanation is that the dinosaurs were wiped out in the flood

God created fossils.

If we could see where life began, where space or where time began we would know if there is or isn't a god. God created space so vast we cannot see the end, time so vast we cannot see the beginning, and physical evidence so diverse we cannot see ourselves.

This way you need faith. (as so important in the bible)
