I'm sure you are going to get alot of nasty responses for this one. I, too, had a bitter reaction at first. But if you honestly didn't know, then, you honestly can't be the "other woman". I'm hoping you had the right frame of mind to leave him. This is pretty much the ultimate betrayal. You might also want to take the high road and call his wife, she deserves to know what kind of scumbag she is married to. And for future reference, it doesn't hurt to do some checking on the next guy...just to be safe.

You're the other woman, and possibly not too bright if he lead a double life for four years and you never had any idea. Unless it's a situation where he's separated and hasn't actually been with his wife in a very long time.

noooo, you shouldn't feel like the other woman, just because you are the other woman.
i am tempted to ask though how well did you really know him or were you even interested in getting to know him since you dated him for 4 YEARS and couldn't figure out that he was married?

You are definitely the other woman. You're the secret in his serious relationship. A wife isn't ever the other woman... she is supposed to be THE woman. This guy is a creep. You should feel like you need to smack him and tell his wife.

Any way what happen is very sad , but now onwards start looking for some healthy relation and leave that man immediately for your own better future , do not listen and agree with his plea . Just go away ,old memories will be faded in no time .
