of course. In baseball its just slogging. You "throw" the ball as hard as you an. There is really no technique. Too many innings also there. But cricket is a more complicated game, batting technique, bowling technique and fielding technique(in baseball the fielders are also wearing gloves). Cricket is not just about hitting the ball as hard as anyone can, its about timing also. In one-days there are only 2 innings, one to each team. In test 2 innings each. Its great to watch cricket. Its addictive. Its actually illegal to "throw" in cricket. You get banned.

I tink both the games have itz plus points. Cricket is fun and cool to watch...but at times get lagging.
Baseball is also cool, but since the no. of innings is more it 2 lags and itz fun to watch the players movin here and there.

the players getting out is another fctor. In Baseball everyone gets out faster and it goes on quick. In Cricket it takes time as 10 wickets is the maximum.

But still me as an Indian enjoy cricket because our spirits are in them. i m not saying baseball is bad but for the west they love baseball and itz fun to watch the game too.

I don't know why people ask this question. The simple fact is, they are both great sports. I like cricket because, that's the sport that I am familiar with and in America the same thing applies. It doesn't devalue the sport because it is not patronised by other countries who have not been brought up on the sport.

Having played both sports, cricket is so much better its not funny. More skill and courage in one game of cricket than in one whole season of baseball.

duh cricket is way better than baseball, cricket takes more courage, timing and skill ans tactics in boling batting and fielding. i have played both. baseball is very boring. couple my friends her tried playing cricket, i bowled them a yorker and they were gone. i pretty much hate baseball because it is a sorry copy of cricket. infact baseball is more similiar to rounders(a childs game in uk). people here in the usa r igonorant and dont know what a real sport is
