Hi. .I am 19, have had a gyno check up for this year, it was normal. Am on ortho-tri cyclen, and the last time I was sexually active was at the end of April Beginning of May.

I have had my period for the last 3 months, and they were pretty close to normal, except the last one I experienced brownish discharge before my period actually started and when it did come it was just a little bit lighter then usual.

Well my period is due for this month and usually comes tomorrow morning, or around there but earlier tonight, I got the brown dishcharge again, and then now its a very faint pinkish/red barely there, now I was thinking my period isnt due until tomorrow anyways, so it's not like this should be abnormal or anything, but im a little conerned because I usually dont get the brown discharge before my period, but it comes after.I havent taken a PT test yet. Has anyone else experienced this? or think this could be a sign of pregnancy? Thanks alot!

You are probably fine. But why are you being sexually active?

You are 19. What is the Rush?
Find some friends who believe in waiting until after they are married so that you have support. You can all encourage each other to save something so special for someone so special.

Just because you have been sexually active, doesn't mean that you have to continue. You can still stop and regain the self esteem that you have lost by letting yourself be used.

In addition, you will meet nicer boys if you date them and you are not giving them sex.
You will know that they will be faithful husbands.
You will know that they really like YOU.
You will stay out of a whole lot of trouble, IE Diseases pregnancy, a broken heart and low self esteem from giving your self away to some boy who wanted to just use you.

You deserve to be treated with respect. Treat yourself with respect and live in a way that will give you a good future.

You know I am telling you the truth.
If you are not pregnant, breathe a sigh of relief. Go to confession if you are Catholic or otherwise confess as is outlined by your faith. If you were not raised in a faith, It's a good time to look into it. God Loves you and God's laws are to protect you from harm.

God Bless You, ;-)

If the last time you had sex was May and you got pregnant then you would be experiencing many more signs than you are.

Sounds very normal to me.

Seems normal as your period will lessen (fewer days, less amount) while on some contraceptives. However, if you are spotting between cycles (also may occur on contraceptives) you should visit your gyno to be sure it's nothing harmful.

Personally I experienced somewhat the same thing when I was young, and it turned out that i had been pregnant and that i had an early miscarriage, which is medically called a spontaneous abortion.

maybe its a sign of pregnancy, "spotting" , to be sure have a pt test asap.. if youre not pregnant maybe theres a problem in your reproductive system or simply a complication (std or what)
