doctor tells me my thyroid is low, she put me on a small dose of medication. The problem is... I feel like complete ****, no energy, sleep for 12 hours a night, and can barely function. Some days are worse then others. I dont know what to do now, its hard to just sleep your days away when your a mother of 2 and work full time. Anyone else experience this? maybe there is a supplement I can be taking as well to help? or perhaps certain foods help? any ideas would be appreciated!

i had same problem you need to go see an endocrinologist. It will make the biggest difference in your life don't waste your time on a regular MD believe me i did and lived to regret it. if your levels aren't correct you can go it to a coma if low enough that's why you sleep so much, If i wouldn't have finally gone to Ohio state university hospital i probably wouldn't be here today. go to a specialist!!!!!!

Have your doc adjust your meds. Also suggest to him that you want Armour Thyroid meds which are natural meds.
