This error is generated when opening Yahoo chat rooms. A prior suggestion was to lower my firewall setting. The firewall isnt the problem. I have a HP pavilion dv5000 laptop. MY toshiba doesnt do this. Also a suggestion was to send feedback to intel. I did that. Any folks out there seen this error and know how to fix it?

This is a new laptop. Its not the drivers either as the laptop came with up-to-date drivers

There are no conflicts or intrusions between yahoo and the audio drivers. keep the suggested answers rolling in

It's problems like this that keep me a mac user. Driver issues have NEVER affected me. Compare sound cards between the two, you might find compatibility conflicts.
