When my sister and I were growing up and shared a room that was right next to my parents, we'd cackle and joke long into the night before going to sleep. Oftentimes Dad would yell from the other room, "You girls get to sleep!" So, to avoid having the wrath of Dad fall on us, we'd scream into the pillow to muffle our out-of-control laughter.

No, others can hear you - I like to drive by myself and then scream as long and loud as I can. It helps when I'm really frustrated.

Plenty of times! It's a great way to get out your anger without hurting or annoying anyone else.

It is much more stress reducing to just throw back your head and yell at the top of your lungs! Try it.
