Okay, Im gonna answer this question because only 1 person actually named someone WHO CAN SHOOT 3's. Karl Malone never made a 3 in his life, Dwayne wade is not a good shooter, he dunks. And Kobe's Precentage is HORRIBLE! and Rip Hamilton doesnt shoot much so his stats arent too high. oh, and its Jason Terry, not Perry. and Its Josh Howard, and he SUCKS at threes.
The Best Shooter out there is Ray Allen on the Seatlle Supersonics
Or you can go with Dirk Nowitzki on the Dallas Mavericks
If you want someone less expensive Try Peja Stojakovic on The Indiana Pacers, hes on the New Orleans Hornets now, but he was in Indiana until a few weeks ago.
Also, if your playing an older version, check to see if Reggie Miller is still around, Hes the best ever, but retired last year. But he was on my NBA Live 06 under Free Agents.

Sorry everyone, its not rip hamilton. I agree he had the best three point percentage during the season, or if not he was at least close to the top, but he's not really a three point shooter. He made his open ones yes, but Rip is really a clutch mid range shooter. Watch him play and you'll see him pass up three's and bring the ball in a few steps to a more comfortable spot. Kobe Bryant is an incredible player, and he does things no one else can do, like hit 12 threes in a game. But he's still not the best SHOOTER. Kyle Korver is money, ray allen has perfect form, and stojakovic is a great shooter too. One guy no one has mentioned is Michael Redd of the Bucks. that guy can shoot the lights out.

Like some people said stats wise its Richard Hamilton. BUT the game probably came out before the season ended so Rip probably doesn't have the highest 3pt %. If i were u i would use some of the following. Peja Stojackovic(Indiana Pacers......or if a later brand try Sac. Kings), Ray Allen(Seattle Supersonics), Kobe(LA Lakers) is ok, Steve Nash(Phoenix Suns) is alright. Or just cruise around the game and look at the 3pt %'s.

Use players that have shooter freestyle superstar icons if you're playing nba live 06. Guys such as Michael Redd, Dirk Nowitzki, Quentin Richardson, Mike Bibby, Vince Carter, Peja Stojakovic, Kyle Korver, etc.

If you're playing nba live, the guy that won the three point contest last year usually is the best. If its nba live 06, then it would be quentin richardson.
In real life I would say Ray Allen.
Allen playes for the Sonics and Richardson for the Knicks

Peja Storakavic and he would be on the Sacramento kings, but if u have a updated roster he would be on the Indianna Pacers. In the newer games coming out he will be on the New Orleans Hornets.
