Israel has taken crap from the surrounding arab countries for a long time (suicide bombings, Arab-Israeli wars, ect..). And recently (last 5 years) Israel has done almost everything the UN has asked them to do. Give back Gaza, parts of the west bank, ect... so when Israel is pushed over the edge by Hezbolla and the kiddnapping of thier soldiers. You have to put it in perspective, if terrorist from Mexico went across the border and took Us soldiers we would persue them into Mexico dispte the UN.
You might say that Lebbanon had nothing to do with Hezzbolla, but in 1998 the UN passed a law that would disarm Hezzbolla, but Lebbonon and Jordan did not follow through on the bill. Now Israel is taking it upon themelves to to so, and i think they have the right to do it.

Short version.

Al-Qeada attacks US. US goes nuts and attacks Iraq, despite the complete lack of evidence that Iraq had anything to do with Al-Qaeda or the 9/11 attacks. Bush violates international law (and US law) in his desire to control everybody he doesn't like.

Hezbollah attacks Israel. Israel says stop. Hezbollah attacks Israel. Israel says stop. Hezbollah attacks Israel. Israel attacks back, and Hezbollah starts wining about being picked on.
