I liked the movies "Quo Vadis", "The Fall of the Roman Empire", "Cleopatra", "The Robe", "Gladiator", and "Ben-Hur".
Augustus was by far the most impressive! He united and expanded the Empire.
The next few rulers were rotten (sorry to say). Tiberius, Caligula, Claudius, and Nero- Oh My! Tiberius wasn't evil. Just paranoid.
But later there were some great names- Marcus Aurilius comes to mind (and I know I spelled that wrong. sorry). And Constatine and Charlemange- both Holy Roman Emperors after the Empire converted to Christianity.
