I was at this place once where sushi snaked throughout the restaurant on a conveyor belt and you just pick up the piece you want to eat. in seattle somewhere. any idea?

yes ... go to Sushiland! pay by price of each colored plate on the sushi belt ... $1, $1.50, $2, $2.50 and $3 maximum.

there are restaurants in lower Queen Anne (across the street from Tower Records), Bellevue and the new location in Redmond (Bella Bottega) -- I recommend QA or Redmond ... Bellevue is a little older and quality is not as good as Seattle.

Go to the waterfront...put pole in water...
wait around for a bite...
pull up fish, eat on spot.
don't get cheaper (or fresher) than that.
watch out for fish-lovers, though. mean.
