I'm so scared because last year halfway through the year i moved to San Diego California and either they hated me (except my friends and like 5 other people) or they didn't know me and their friends hated me so now THEY hate me and i don't know how to get along with people. i don't get why they hate me i'm a nice person and also because of the move i don't know the things we learn because last year in my math class they were still learning stuff i learned in 5th grade (a year before last year) and in science at my new school they were learning earth science and i had been learning something like totally different (it was what they learn in 8th grade here). Can someone PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's hard going to a new school. My daughter felt like she didn't have any friends the first year she was at her new school, but the second year was a lot easier for her. Now she's in her fourth year there and has lots of friends. I hope this makes you feel a little better. Kids can be so mean. Good luck.

Ok, one grade is just like the next only they get a little more complex. If you think you are absoluty lost, then ask your parents to help or ask if they can get a tutor. About the whole 'people hating me' thing, just be your self. Find some common ground and build on that. It might seem like it is the most important thing right now, but in a few month your bond to forget all about it.

See if you can talk your parents into moving back to wherever they came from. The schools in San Diego sound totally pathetic!
