Do you think they will still get snubbed by the BCS committee if they run through their schedule unblemished?

Decent. The whooping they put on Georgia in the Bowl game was quite impressive. The Big East is certainly weaker than the power conferences top to bottom, but if WVU goes 12-0, they will have everybody's attention. This looks like a very good year for the Mountaineers. I'm an Auburn alumni and fan and I'm glad we don't have to play WVU (at least not in the regular season). Good luck on the possibility for a historic season. This could be your year.

nope, if they go undefeated, then they should be in. i think they have a decent shot. the defense still has some problems, but the offense is going to be dominant, and the way the can run the ball, they can control the clock easily. Now that pat white has had another to develop, he will be even more dangerous as a passer, making running out of the spread easier. And just because everyone knows that they are going to run the ball a lot doesn't mean they can do anyhing about it. Everyone knew that last year and look what happened, and everyone knew that vince young was going to get the ball on the last play in the rose bowl, he still scored. i think that louisville will probably beat west virginia this year, now that they have michael bush at 100% and brohm back and better, but it will be a great game to watch

If any two other major title contenders go undefeated, there is no way West Virginia will be in the national championship. Their schedule is just too soft. In my opinion, West Virginia will be the only team to go undefeated because most of the title contenders have major problems (Oklahoma losing Rhett Bomar).

If they go undefeated they will get a BCS. If two other teams from major conferencea go undefeated, they are going to get pushed back from the championship game.

It's impossible to get in the championship game unless you are in a conference like the SEC or Big Ten.

Problem with WV is that they don't play good teams. Only one Top 25 teams. (Louisville) If your conference is not great, they should schedule strong none-conference games. Marshall and Eastern Washington won't take Mountaineer to BCS championship.

Slim to none. There will always be teams from the SEC, Big Ten, ACC, Big XII, and Pac-10 who might lose a game, but will still have a better BCS ranking. I know it's bogus, but it is what it is.

From what I read on ESPN.com I would be concerned about their cupcake schedule. This may work against them when it comes to selection time. But if they go undefeated they'll be playing in a major bowl.

Maybe...they do play in the Big Least afterall, even if they would get to the NC game they more than likely would get crushed.
