Yes you can, Google AdSense is simply a web application, meaning if you have a working Internet connection, you can use AdSense.

I think you can open google adsense with any operation system. Whats the problem?
Google Adsense is a very great programs, but they can deactivate you without no reason. Thats the thing that i hate from Google adsense.
You can use adbrite or adster, i use both of them now in my site: http://dozdozdoz.cjb.net
Btw, If you choose to use Google adsense, dont use another ads in one page, you can deactivate by them (see the rules).

read the system requirements and see if win98 is supported!
