I thought V for Vendetta was awesome. I have had movies I couldn't stand though. Some of them I couldn't watch anymore and turned it off, some I just stuck it out to see if it'll get any better (some didn't get better) just a chance you have to take. I haven't walked out of a theater movie though, that's a waste of money. But I did hate The Hulk though, it was terrible.

I've walked out on a few. The last one was American Beauty with Kevin Spacey. I went to talk to one of the theatre patrons & complained. She brought the manager out & told him what I'd said. Instead of being a jerk, he was sympathetic & offered me a free movie gift card to use at another time. I was pleasantly surprised that it was enough for more than one person plus a visit to the snackbar. I took my son to see Toy Story 2. It was definately worth the complaint.
I now only go see a movie I really want to see that I'd rather not wait 16 weeks for the DVD release.

But I haven't walked out of a movie, yet, even the one's when I think back, I regret seeing.

There are quite a few stinkers out there and I usually try to tough it out and stay until the end - that is until I saw the worst movie ever - "ISHTAR" with Warren Beatty and Dustin Hoffman. They tried to make a Hope/Crosby road picture (emphasis on "tried"). I could not stand to see such a waste of film (not to mention the money I pissed away to see it).

I never walked out of a movie, but when I rented The Matador it was so bad I just gave up on it and couldn't watch it anymore.

I hate myself for it, but yes, I have walked out on two movies in my life. The first was Baz Luhrman's Romeo and Juliet. The second was Mother, by Albert Brooks.

I never walk out of movies, but I saw Freedomland the other day, and it was so horrible I really wanted it to end. I decided to stick it out for the "Twist" ending, but the twist never came! The twist never came!
