Suicide bombs target civilians intentionally, conventional weapons are targeted at actual military targets.

This whole situation is a matter dealing law breakers.

Hezbollah fighters kidnapped two Israeli soldiers. The Lebanese police didn't arrest them. When Israeli soldiers went in to get the kidnapped soldiers they were met with military style tactics and firepower.

All the Hezbollah fighters are now accessories to the crime of kidnapping and are murders under the law. The shear numbers involved should be considered as being organized crime. Organized crime on such grand scale can not go unpunished.

The failure of the Lebanese police to arrest the criminals and not evacuate the citizens from such a danger zone is not the fault of Israel. These failures mean Israel MUST now go after the criminals and that means all of Hezbollah as they're all accessories to the crime of kidnapping and murderers.

The citizens left to be in the way can not deter Israel from the path of bringing the criminals to justice. The drastic means used are the result of a large organized crime group of very well armed criminals willing to kill and escape justice at any cost.

If Hezbollah did the kidnapping and murders here and hid in a neighborhood. Then used rockets and automatic weapons to hold the two who were kidnapped. The US military would level the buildings with the Hezbollah fighters inside, just as soon as the police got the citizens evacuated.

Israel is doing no different. Organized crime of this scale and magnitude must be dealt with by any and all means necessary. This idiocy in the media is a farce and should get the reporters and network people invoved in the false reports fired.

The law is the law and must be enforced even when drastic measures are required. Hezbollah can not be allowed to be above the law no matter what. Hezbollah must be held accountable to the law period.

Kill them with the bullets and also assasinate them in terms of image... They are cruel because they are the 'other' and thus deserve to be killed by all effective means.

Dislodge a people from their land and make a modern nation on top of their homes whose faith and modernity justifies eviction of lesser mortals... When they struggle back and go insane because of the dispossession... call them terrorists and fundamentalists giving you good reason to bomb whatever is left of them till eternity.

War is not merely about physical violence... it is a complete economy in itself, illegitimising people in all terms. Whatever is constructed out of this systematic oppression will never do anybody good.

The arab muslim terrorists started it with Israel. I am tired of hearing about the poor muslims. If they dont fire missiles into Israel or kidnap their people to bargain with, then guess what...they dont get killed. Israel has tried in good faith to negotiate several times. It always ends up this way. Every time someone negotiates with these people, it gives them reason to do this over and over. Also, the blood of every innocent woman or child lies wholly on the hands of Hezbollah

It all depends who you target. Targeting civilians is a terrible thing either way. That's why we don't do it.
