an inning is a unit of the game, not defined by time, but rather, by what happens in the inning. To end the inning, both teams must come to bat and three outs must be gotten by both sides. However, a lot can happen before the outs are gotten. A game consists of nine innings, unless the score is tied at the end of nine, then it goes into extra innings. So, theoretically, a baseball game can last forever, as long as the score continues to be tied.

One inning is 6 outs.

Each team gets 3 outs per thier half of that inning.

There are 9 innings in a game. Unless the game is tied after 9, then they keep playing until someone wins. No Ties.

The visiting teams bats first.
The home team bats in the bottom of each inning (therefore they have the last at bat).

a complete inning is where both teams have been able to bat. With three outs for each team per inning, the total outs per inning is six.

An inning is when both teams have had their turn at bad (and in the field). Please tell me you really knew this! It means they've both had their 3 outs.
