JayaC you was the cleverer the the batsman is stood
So the non-striker couldn't bat the next ball
So the next batsman has the only chance to play the ball., The caught batsman also has to cross each other,

if its the last ball of the over...then only the non striker wil face the next ball..not otherwise!! if the batsman who got out is still in the crase and the non striker has crossed him...it is not counted as a crssing..therefore the new batsman will face the next ball

If they crosses each other before the catch, then non striker will face the ball, else the new comer. And in this case if he is he is stick to his crease and non striker have also reached his crease before the catch, then non striker will face the ball.
But if they did not cross each other then it will b the new batsmen who faces the ball.

I dont think that there is any runner till now who can cover 22 yards in less than one forth of a second.
But suppose it happens, simply that non striker (runner) will face the next ball (if it was't the last ball of the over)
