Are liberals trying to hijack Christianity?

Are Judeo-Christian parents bigots when they take a stand against teaching our children that homosexuality is "normal," when the Scriptures those parents believe in tell us it is an abomination to God and "goes against nature?" the basis for "unalienable Rights" being "entitled?" to the "morals and values" of the Democratic candidates, and who is supporting them.
The more liberals speak, the more votes they loose. Polling data continues to show that people committed to their faith are abandoning the Democratic Party in historic numbers.
Does this mean it should be ok to force a curriculum depicting the sin of homosexuality as natural and normal, and which does not violate "the Laws of Nature and imposes this immorality on children of faith-based parents? What liberals hope, is that Americans will be complacent, silent.
The leadership of that community is obsessed by gay rights and abortion.

I mean you are standing in judgment of others as though you were GOD. So since you are casting a stone then obviously, you must be without sin, right?

You should have at least come up with a better argument because your premises are flawed and based on your twisted version of what you think the liberal thinks.

A liberal does not teach children that homosexuality or abortion is acceptable. A liberal, much like Jesus did, teaches their children to love thy neighbor unconditionally. A liberal teaches their children, much like Jesus did, not to hate. A liberal teaches their children that he/she is responsible for his/her own sins, not the sins of his/her neighbor.

But you don't understand that do you? You are some new mutated form of Christianity that I call Bushian, a Bush Christian. For some reason, you believe you can speak for GOD while you commit sins against the Bible everyday. You believe that you can pick and choose pieces of the Bible to follow and leave out the parts you don't like.

Ppl like you are the ones who gripe about social programs that keep the poor, elderly, sick and starving from living under bridges BUT you do NOT complain one second about the Faith-Based Initiative funds that go to your churches.

If parents want to teach kids that homosexuality is wrong, they have the option of teaching that lesson at home, church or private school. I don't think public schools should be in the morality business. They should have rules and promote ETHICAL behavior.

I think it is the conservatives who are obsessed with gay rights and abortion. Most people I know, even conservatives, think that we should focus less on those issues and more on war, crime, and the economy.

I don't think very many liberals are Christian. Those that are are rather weak Christians. That does not mean all Democrats but those that would describe themselves as liberals would probably not describe themselves as Christian.
I think they should make a distinction between supporting gay rights and being against gay bashing and abuse of gays by people, those are different. One could be against gay behavior and still not want them to be hurt or abused. But supporting gay "rights" is a different matter.

That is sooo why I am homeschooling. I don't want my daughter to have to deal with that till she is older. I can teach her all she needs to know. It is a parents job to teach right from wrong. Parents need to become a stronger part in their childrens life.
