Do you feel any different towards those who seek just your opinion than those who try to push products down your throat? I personally don't mind the opinion ones because it just helps the companies to do better business. What do you think?

I really don't mind the survey ones as long as they are indeed brief.
Since I'm on the FTC's Do Not Call list I don't get anymore telemarketing calls.
If you are getting to many, it is very, very easy to sign up for the DNC list.

I understand their purpose, but it just takes too long! I don't want to spend 20 minutes on the phone telling some woman what types of make-up I've heard of and which I prefer.

I have caller id. If I don't know the number, I don't answer the phone. That way I don't have to deal with survey or sales.
