Summer of 1977, I was on a T-Ball team called the Yankees and we had won our league championship. When I arrived home that night, I was watching the 11:00 news and on the sports report, I saw where Thurman Munson and Reggie Jackson had hit a home run in their game that night and won their game.

Anyway, seeing that made me think that if I'm a "Little Yankee" and I won my game, and those guys are the "Big Yankees" and they won their game . . . I'm always going to be a winner.

Ever since then, I have been a fan of the 26 time World Champion New York Yankees!

That day in the summer of 1977 changed my life forever . . . God help my wife :)

A Jehovah's Witness knocked on my door. I had never even heard of them. He asked me, "Is there anything about the Bible you have always wanted to know." There was. I asked. My life has never been the same. I am happier than I have ever been. For the first time in my life I know I have friends that are TRUE friends. My family and others actually have come to respect and admire me for my conduct and the way I raised my children. I have learned about and put on the new personality which is formed in the image of God.

Starting smoking, I started hanging out with the kids that smoke, then they got me to try weed, then I started smoking that all the time. Then I started gipping school to smoke or hang out with them. Ruined my academic career, and now I have to start my college at a community college rather than any university of my choice. (I at one point in time had that option, due to my ACT and SAT scores back when I was just a freshman)

For me, it was inadvertently letting a Black person see a letter in which I used the "n word."

The resulting scandal got me to seriously rethinking the way I spoke to my friends and family about race. Yes, I was embarassed. But it was a good lesson.

Spiritual enlightenment helped me improve as an individual. God Realisation has made me more conscious of my behaviour.
