I mean get real people. How can you justify you actions. I mean you would think that people would get over themselfs and move on with life. Being gay is not virus or wrong. Being gay is being honest with ones slef and others. It is a statement , a way of being (out side of sterotypes). Why hat something you dont understand and really has nothing do do with other people unless THEY choose to have something to do with you. Tell me if you agree or disagree. Be honest and tell me you thoughts.

There is a study that says 80% of the people who attack gays and lesbians have had homosexual feelings themselves.

A component considered to play into homophobia, as considered by some theorists, such as Calvin Thomas and Judith Butler, is an individuals fear of being identified as homosexual him or herself.

This notion suggests that when expressing homophobic viewpoints and emotions, the individual who does so is not only expressing his thoughts as to homosexuals, but also actively attempting to distance himself from this category and attributed social status. Therefore, by distancing him or herself from the people in question, he/she is reaffirming his/her role as a heterosexual, within heteronormativity, and contributing to the avoidance of his/her potential labeling and consequent treatment as a homosexual.

This interpretation plays into notions of violent opposition to "the Other" as a means of establishing one's identity as part of the majority and therefore, validated by society. This concept is also recurrent in interpretations of racism and xenophobia

Is often kinder to just put it down to ignorance and a bit of bible bashing growing up and hope they evolve in time.

I don't understand why all of the gay bashers always want to start fights. There is already enough fighting in the world..must we add to it. Some of them sound just like the people back in the 50 and 60's who were against black people having equal rights. It's really creepy.

Reality check please.

No one is born gay. A person becomes gay, lesbian or confused because of their environment, not because of genetics.

If an individual has a penis and this person's genetics contain the Y chromosome then definitely HE is Male.

If an individual has a vagina and this person's genetics contain only X chromosomes then definitely SHE is Female.

Hermaphrodites (organisms with two genitals) are a genetic oddity, therefore in no way can this be used as basis to prove and approve homosexuality and the lifestyle that goes with it.

I've already discussed the scientific side now let's go to the religious aspect. All God-fearing religions will tell you that God or Allah or Yahweh created a MAN and a WOMAN. God did NOT create "Adam and Steve" or "Madam and Eve".

Anyone who believes and advocates the "born gay" philosophy is a liar to all genders and to him or herself. Gays, lesbians and the transgendered believe whatever trash science they can get their hands on not because it is true, but because it justifies their lies and their lifestyle.

Yeah, straight men and women have our share of skeletons in our closets but at least we are true to our genetics and ourselves. Straight individuals can be proud and brag that we can produce offspring and children. Any scientific proof that gay men can produce offspring my engaging in anal sex and thereby impregnating their male partner? Any lesbians out there who can scientifically prove that they can also produce sperm from their vaginas and impregnate their female partner?

Hi I'm a straight female, I always think that gay bashers have doubts regarding their own sexuality, They probably have secret gay fantasies but unlike yourself they are not man enough to do anything about it, they are hiding behind a curtain of heterosexuality. Some of these people are obviously children or sad adults with no life. I read a question saying why don't we just ignore them and most times I do. I think if we do ignore them then they would no longer be entertained and can go back to cleaning up their rooms before their mommies come home.

Yeah i've noticed it. They just don't get it. why do they have to say bad things about gays? If they don't like it then they can just ignore it cause nothing is going to change the way gays feel when it comes to the same gender as themselves.

Gay people are an abomination... humans are not designed to be that way... Male and females supposed to be together not males with males and not females with females.
