Who thinks they should legalize go-karts and atv/four-wheelers to drive on the main roads? Cause of the gas prices being so high, and the go-karts and atv/four-wheelers get so much better gas milages. I'm sure more people would use 'em to go back and forth to work or something and use the family car/truck/suv for vacations and stuff like that.

Could always put like a small motorcycle engine in a go-kart for a lil more power and top end speed.

Uh, my kart runs on $6.00 per gallon racing fuel. Although it will do highway speeds, being an inch off the ground in traffic don't sound like a good idea.

Here's something even better ! Engines Run best on Vaporized Fuel, not Atomized Fuel. Regular Pump Gasoline can be Safely Converted to Propane. Don't Believe it ? That's just what My Avatar is a Photo of ! Even the Largest SUV could get 50 + MPG, and Emit 10X less Polluting Exhaust Emissions. Here's the Problem. All Vehicles in the USA, from 1996 to the Present are Required by law to Run at 14.7 Parts of Air to 1 Part of Fuel. Any Deviation from that Mandated Parameter, even if Fuel Economy is Improved, and Emissions are Lowered, will Fail Inspection ! This is the EPA-OBD II Law. Vaporized Fuel is 100 Parts of Air to 1 Part of Fuel. And it's Illegal ! Now, 1996 was the Year this law was Passed. What Administration was in Power when this "Brilliant Bit Of Legislation" was Passed ? I Guess that would be "An Inconvenient Truth" ? Want More ? Go to www.fuelvapors.com.

They are not fuel efficient. The small tires on karts, and the low pressure off road tires on the ATVs are part of the problem. Golf carts for local use might be better.

Ahh ive heard all th sh#t information on motorcycles , lack of existence, injuries etc and its all Bull. Ive been driving in uk, France and Canada. Ive held a licence for 17years and under no circumstances had an twist of destiny on the topic of yet another motorcar. certain ive come off in ice, on some bends, yet i wouldnt say any more effective risky than any twist of destiny i had on a push motorcycle. Filtering up the site visitors isnt risky, in case you do it on the right places and use ahead making plans and take you time, searching as you filter out up a line of vehicles in a site visitors congestion. Ive had experts(wellbeing care professional contained in the kinfolk) tell me i could be in a wheelchair, loose my legs/ rames or lifeless in a three hundred and sixty 5 days if i journey in Canada... yet 6yrs on- im nonetheless very a lot alive, have all my limbs and strolling round tremendous!. Ive heard human beings say' dont journey in France youll get heavily injured because the french drivers hate motorcyclist and could mow you down' - load of garbage!. THen ive had human beings for years!,(ever because i first were given on a bike) telling me how motorcycling is risky, and that i could provide up because the site visitors in uk is getting worse etc.... and that i merely imagine theyre idiots. confident motorcyclists would in straightforward words be 2% of vehicles on the line, and per chance i 'suposivily have' a 8/10 probability aspect of being killed, etc- yet thats someone elses opinion and is no longer a confusing written actuality or destany for me. i imagine 17years of motorcycling is testomony to my ability, recommendations-set and how a lot/a lot less im at risk of being wiped out. i imagine those stats are merely created with the help of anti motorcycle corporations, or scare mongers!. also in case you purchase say an R6 or R1 style of motorcycle, then its as cost-efficient as a vehicle. with a go back of about 38mpg.... My motorcycles provide 50mpg for a 550cc and 100mpg for a 125cc

amen brother. :)

well, wearing a suit and waiting for 40 minutes in heavy downtown traffic amidst all the smog and junk doesn't sound too appealing though, does it. plus, you'd need to buy a stereo system for the go-kart..........

shucks. is there a plan C?
