The first thing that you should do is to determine if the blood in the stool is bright red or dark, almost blackish-red. If it is bright red, it sounds like it could be hemorrhoids which can be treated by eating a high-fiber diet. If it is a dark, blackish-red, that can be a sign of internal bleeding and you need immediate medical treatment.
Do you have large unnatural bumps in your rectum? If yes, those are probably hemorrhoids. If you eat foods like bananas, carrots, celery, bell peppers, whole grain breads and other high-fiber foods, you will be able to get through the hemorrhoids.
In either event, I suggest that you speak to your mother anyway and get a medical check-up. Only a doctor is properly trained to diagnose your situation and advise you on the best treatments.
All the best to you!

You need to tell your Mom. I know she will understand. You mustn't suffer in silence. It isn't healthy. Do you drink enough water daily? You might want to try some prune juice too. Also, the bleeding might be from a hemorrhoid from straining too hard. But you really need to get to the bottom of this, just say to your mom, "Hey Mom. I'm having a problem making stool. It hurts and sometimes it bleeds."
Good Luck.

If you are always constipated that could be why. If this is the case. You could try eating raisin bran or 100% bran every morning. If not, then you might have hemeriods or something. This is nothing to be ashamed of. If happens to lots of us sometimes. You really should tell mom unless she is a monster. In that case go to a free clinic. Many years ago my young son had a large bowel movement that cause him pain so he developed a fear and would hold it so long that it became a cycle. It went on for years. How to tell mom. Say "mom I have a personal problem, please don't tell anyone because I will be imbarrassed". Then tell her.

Best to tell her. It may not be anything to worry about but it is always best to get it checked out by a doctor!
Sometimes when you are constipated you tear some tissue and the can be the cause of the blood. It might be something else but you will never know until you talk to someone.
Just say, "Mom, I think I need to go to the doctor." /Why?/ "because it hurts when I go to the toilet and sometimes I see blood afterward." -- she will want to help you. Trust me.
If you want to go see the doctor without involving your mother, why not just make an appt. yourself and go by yourself? There is no shame in this!

You need to go to a doctor this could be a real problem. If the blood is a dark brown do not muck around as this is very serious, though if the blood is bright red this is usually caused from hemorrhoids but you will need to get this checked as well if it has been going on as long as you say. There is nothing to be embarrassed about as we have all had similar problems.

i would tell your mom asap lots of problems when you have blood and stool all the time.... You might want to increase your water and fiber intake that might help as well. If that doesnt help you have no choice but to tell for this could be an indication for a serious problem....

It hurts and its bleeding because you are causing fissures or hemmoroids- you can correct this problem- talk to your mom and tell her the same thing you said here- this is a fairly common problem that is caused by poor diet and straining- it will not go away unless you do whats needed to correct it- if you let it continue for too long its harder to correct.

it could be hemorroids or an anal fissure (ouch -- been there). you need to go to the doctor, and tell your mom! avoiding embarassment is not worth all this pain.
your dr. will probably prescribe an ointment called Proctosedyl, which is a life-saver. you also need to eat lots of fibre and don't force bowel movements at all, especially if you have an anal fissure because your skin will be thin for a few months after it's healed and if you try to force it it can easily split again.
i hope you get better.

You have probably pushed so hard trying to crap that you've broken a lot of blood vessels near your anus and now have HEMMORROIDS which can be very painful and very itchy.
If you are having problems taking a dump you need to eat more fibre and fruit.......try a bowl of bran flakes with a banana cut up on it for breakfast every morning, and start eating 5 - 7 servings of vegetables and fruit every day....that'll get ya going without having to push so hard!
