Has anyone heard of boiling cedar chips and using the water to spray the baseboards to get rid of the "Huge" roaches? An elderly man my husband came in contact with told him this but didn't tell him how much water? chips? Our next door neighbor has a tree full of them. She sprayed an insecticide in the trees and now we have them in our house. We have two small grandchildren living with us and are limited to what we can use.

Don't believe everything you hear. The only long term solution to a cockroach infestation is to hire the services of a professional exterminator. They have eradication methods that are safe to use around children.

Good luck with your problem.

Haven't heard about the cedarwood tincture sprayed for roaches.
Here is a link to a non-toxic roach removal system.
