I am planning a trip to Vancouver, Canada, and I was wondering if this city has a good nightlife.

Well I guess it depends on what scene you are into. There are a number of hip/hop dance/pop clubs but there are alot of other alternative nights but they move around and are in smaller venues. Try looking at

The bars make you line up even when they are empty and then they close early. The dancing is very conservative, and the people are cold.
If you are looking for live music, good bands often come through town, but you need to get tickets in advance.

Yeah, Vancouver is awesome at night. I usually hang out downtown, around granville street. theres plenty of bars, clubs etc. and people seem to stay out much later than they do in the u.s.

its got a great nitelife. trust me u wont b at a loss of things to do here - day or nite
