In the type of work that I do, I often find myself getting really irritated easily, and finding faults with things that I normally haven't had a problem with. I am now thinking that it is time for a career change because I am finding that my job is becoming monotonous and tedious. I am a little afraid to step out and and take the risk ofquitting
my job, and getting into a new career, but at the same time, I am miserable in my current occupation. Any advice would be welcomed. Thanks.

I just quit my job and am looking for something totally different. If you get knots in your stomach every time you drive to your job, feel like your brain is rotting while you're there, etc., GO!

After the age of 50, moved from the West coast to the East coast. all started doing earnings taxes for an organization, off season I worked in a plant nursery, then nights at a the USPS doing records conversion, moved back to the West, worked in a motel in a hotel section for 6 months, got here back to the city and signed up with a business organization, 2 calls in 7 weeks, went to artwork as a caregiver and did that till retirement about a year in the past.

i hear you should find what you absolutely love and figure out a way to turn it into a career. while you work on it you may have to accept some crappy jobs in order to pay the bills.

Yeah, it's time for a real career. Being a stripper isn't a career.

Start updating your resume, and begin networking while you're still employed. Most companies accept faxed or e-mailed resumes, and that can be done any time.
