the higher it goes up, the harder the fall.

The US has troops all over the world. The UN is in New York. And US invaded Iraq and officially call themselves "Occupiers" in Iraq. It is the actions not labels that speak the truth.

The US empire won't get much bigger. And I don't think we'll come crashing down since the world depends too much on our economy.

As for the current empire, it will cease in January of 2009. Afterwards, Hillary Clinton will be the new emperor.

It has already started. one third of the great defecit bush has run up is in notes owned by other countries. many major economists predicting the dollar will fall even farther than it has by the end of the year. wages are falling and with gas still going up prices across the board will start rising. savings accounts are practically non-existent for most people with credit card debt rising. higher drop out rates in the schools and those that are graduating are dumber than they were twenty years ago. unchecked illegal immigration is causing social services to be stretched with hospitals having to close because patients have no medical insurance.

Though US empire may become very big but"Everything which goes up, comes down". It is but natural.If it can not be defeated by any country, it will certainly be coming down crashing by its own ever decaying society.It is just matter of time.

for one thing the US is a Democratic ,elected from of government it is not ruled by a king,a Cesar,a Czar,an emperor,or a mullah Democratic societies are responsible for the fall empires The US will be a round for a very long,long,long time to come (there is no chance for a Sith Lord either)

USA is a democratic country and great economic power. It has clearly defined boundaries. All its nationals are united about the security of their country. Therefore any crash may be on economic front only.

The question is excellent. I would suggest 3 indications of its decline:
a) Legislators more concerned with their own position/pork than the people.
b) The need to "utilize" mercenaries to assist in combat.
c) The "buying" off of the populace through lavish spectacles.

the us is not an impeiral country and we do not atack a country to take it over we only atack if they do thearfore it is not an enpire therefore it will not come crashing doun like the roman british and ducth empires
