I ride a push bike and get fined if i ride without a helmet,what make's a skateboard less dangerous or skateboarder's above the law !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm kind of under the impression that skateboarders are, in general, defying the law. or at least would defy the law at any moment if they needed to.
except fashion law, which strictly dictates: no wearing of helmets... ever. unless you are on your Harley and your helmet has a skull breathing flames, then it's cool.

Because a skateboarder is not supposed to be riding on the streets/footpaths.
You as a bike rider have the right to ride on a road, and with that right comes responsibility.

the law still says you have to wear a helmet but i guess scateborders dont think its cool wich it isnt and policemen just dont bother because they wont listen to them anyways.lol.peace.

they are stupid., no offence.. nut i don't think riding a bike without a helmet should be fined. my dad rode his bike without a helment and he didn't get fined.... i think you only get fined if you don't wear a helmet when you are riding a motorcycle.

Nahhh. Gymnast && Skaterrr. It makes you less 'hardcore' && Your a teenage, if you were a kid or whatever, yeah wear one.
