Here In Australia they have recently aired "Paradise Lost" on our cable telivision. Since then Ive been really interested in the story. I dont know what to believe. At first I believed that the step-father did it, then throught out the 3 hour program they showed the 3 teens who are thought to have killed the boys. Im really not sure on what to believe. The father has always had an answer to everything he was ever asked. They boy havent. But I still doubt the father.

What do you think, and could you tell me more about it...?

Hey.. I watched Paradise lost and REvelations (5 years after) and I still think the boys did it. Damian Echols is a very very inteligent person who I believe is a sociopath. The step father is a total wack job there is no denying that, however I dont think he did it! He has passed every test given, has wanted to do every test possible to clear his name etc.. I personally dont think he had anything to do with it..
If the 3 boys didnt do it, the culprits are walking free now!
no one will ever know though..

ive followed this for years, and the point isnt who is guilty - the point is they put 3 boys in jail (and one of them on death row) with no proof!
theres no connection to them and the murders, all they have is the fact that after the police tormented a guy with the IQ of a 5 year old for 12 hours he then confessed to chasing the boys, however all of his details of the incident are inncorrect and dont even match the time frame that it happened.

these boys were sentenced pure and simply because they wore black, listened to metalika and werent practicing christians "thank god this court wasnt trying 99% of australian teenagers in the same year cause we all wore and listened to the same!"

im all for the re trial and i do believe the father is guilty - but the point to all of it is that there was no proof and yet this weirdo hick town sentenced them anyway.

It's not a weirdo hick town, aussieblonde...just a corrupt political system like most every other city in America. The city wanted someone put away, the police did what they were told.
