Get some weed killer ( Round Up is the BEST )
pour a bit in a container... take a small paint brush, and go around
and " Paint" the weeds with it .. Just gettind some on the leaves will kill about any weed.. Painting allows you to have good control of where the herbicde goes.. You may lose a blade or two of grass ; but , with the weeds gone , St.Augustine Grass will fill it right in in no time.
Good Luck ...

Dont be afraid of pulling out the weeds. Even I have an Augustine lawn. Two months ago the lawn was filled with weeds. I pulled them out and now the Augustine lawn looks as beautiful as could be.

You could try using a "Weed and Feed" formula at your local nursery section in any large department store or hardware store. Be sure to water your lawn frequently after application, preferably at night when there is less evaporation, or you will indeed kill the entire lawn. Use a mechanical spreader to apply evenly and follow the directions on the package.

I many times kill no longer undemanding viney weeds that advance up by using shrubs by utilising teasing them out of the facet, laying them on some cardboard or a extensive plastic trash bag and spraying them with the brushkiller formula of Roundup. do no longer do it whilst it extremely is windy and are not getting it on the shrub. It relies upon on the form of shrub to whether the branches will fill decrease back in after cutting deeply into the bush. some arborviteas, yews and a few others will advance from interior if easy is authorized in yet junipers and maximum cypress won't many times advance decrease back in case you decrease deeper than the main interior green enhance.

Use "killex". It kills most weeds but does not effect grass. It works best if the temperature is above 70 degrees F or 21 degrees C.

I would pull them out before though i would consult a nursery or where you bought your agustine lawn and ask them for advise. This way you would not be destroying your lawn. ASK A PROFESSIONAL LAWN SERVICE.OR A NURSERY.....LOL
